Ruth Diskin is the CEO and Artistic Director of the Gesher Multicultural Film Fund.

In her previous role, Ruth was the Chief Programming Officer of the Jerusalem Foundation. Prior to that, she was the owner and CEO of Ruth Diskin Films Ltd. – an international marketing and distribution company which she owned and operated for fifteen years. 

Additionally, she conceived and established the Micha Shagrir Film Archive, transforming the late Micha Shagrir’s film library from a private collection into a national one – the largest of its kind for any independent Israeli filmmaker, anywhere in the world.

Ruth began her career in cinema at the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School as part of the founding team, and 3 years later, established and led the school’s Overseas Department -the first of its kind in Israel.

Ruth also serves on multiple Board of Directors of several leading cultural institutions in Israel.
